How Would A.I. Influence Religion? Would It Make People More or Less Religious?
Imagine that an autonomous vehicle (AV) with a brake failure is about the hit a pedestrian. The AV has two choices. One choice is to swerve to hit a concrete wall, which can lead to the death of the passenger (i.e., owner). Another choice is to go straight and hit the pedestrian, which can lead to the death of the pedestrian. Imagine that the AV chose to hit the pedestrian. Would this action more or less acceptable if the AV is of a luxury or high-end brand?
Imagine a scenario in which either 10 people or 20 people have to die. A decision is made to kill 10 people instead of 20. A utilitarian moral foundation would support this decision. If this decision was made by an A.I. instead of a human being, would it be more acceptable? In the future, A.I. will make various ethical decisions and we would need to know how humans will react to it differently than when the same decision is made by the humans.

What would be the impact of non-human agent on de-humanization?
